Today, HP announced an upgrade to the Pavilion laptops’ line-up, which can be considered as entry-level devices. The new laptops are the company’s first consumer notebooks using post-consumer recycled and ocean-bound plastics. As per the company’s analysis, these laptops will keep 92k recycled plastic bottles out of the oceans and landfills.
The upgrade is coming in Pavilion 13, 14, and 15 and will be powered by the all-new 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics. Moreover, these are the first consumer laptops from HP to get the new CPUs.

In terms of design, the company redesigns the Pavilion laptops to features a 3D seamless metal chassis to give it a sleek, clean look with a new tonal color-blocking design.
The Pavilion 13 offers an FHD/UHD display, whereas the Pavilion 14 and 15 offer HD/FHD display. All three Pavilion laptops now have HDR streaming capable and with the pre-installed High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) for the joyful viewing experience.
HP features these laptops with edge-to-edge keyboard, modern larger touchpad with multi-touch support, and an optional fingerprint scanner, which will be perfect for any students.
For those who need more than Iris Xe graphics, the Pavilion 14 and 15 will offer the option up to Nvidia GeForce MX450 graphics. Moreover, in Pavilion 15, you can also have an optional AMD Ryzen 4000 processor in place of the 11th Gen Intel Tiger Lake processor.
Apart from the redesign, CPUs, GPUs, these laptops also include other updated features like:
- Optional dual-channel memory technology and optional Intel Optane Memory with PCIe SSD standard up to 1TB.
- Improved battery life: The Pavilion 13 offers up to 8.5 hours of battery, Pavilion 14 and 15 offer 8.75 hours of battery life.
- I/O ports like HDMI 2.0, USB-C port, and in connectivity Wi-Fi 6.
- HP Dual Speakers, HP Audio Boost, and B&O tuning for the richer audio experience.
- Wide Vision HD camera with 88-degrees FOV for clear video chat.

Pavilion 13 price starts at $679.99 (~Rs. 49, 954) and will be available on HP.com, Amazon, Costco.com, and other US retailers.
Pavilion 14 price starts at $579.99 (~Rs. 42,607) and will be available on HP.com and other US retailers.
Lastly, the Pavilion 15 price starts at $599.99 (~Rs. 44, 077) and will be available on HP.com, Amazon, Costco.com, and other US retailers.
All the laptops are expected to be available in October.
