HMD Global announces four new Nokia phones in India

Today, HMD Global has announced four new Nokia phones in India. The four new phones include two feature phones named Nokia 125 and Nokia 150 and two smartphones called Nokia 5.3 and Nokia C3.

So without wasting any more time, let us see what the four new Nokia phones have to offer us.

Nokia 125

The Nokia 125 is a feature phone with a 2G service. The phone features a 2.4-inch color display with big ergonomic button and a new longer design. The phone has a tough polycarbonate built for longevity. It has games like classic Snake Xenzia and other great try and buy games with wireless FM Radio. In terms of battery, just a one-time charge is enough to talk for a whole day.

Nokia 150

The Nokia 150 has the same screen size and built design but with more added features like MP3 player, VGA camera, expandable memory up to 32GB via microSD slot, and Bluetooth 3.0.

Nokia 5.3

The Nokia 5.3 is a mid-range smartphone. The smartphone has an elegant 2.5D glass front and scratch-proof back for longevity. The phone features a 6.55-inch HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 20:9. The display of the phone has a waterdrop notch at the top center for the selfie camera.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset paired by up to 6GB RAM, 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, and supports up to 512GB microSD slot.

In terms of optics, the phone has a rear quad-camera module within a circular module, including a 13MP primary sensor, 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro lens, and 2MP Portrait lens. The phone has an 8MP camera up front for selfies.

The phone packs a 4,000mAh battery. Other features are a dedicated Google Assistant button on the power key with a breathing notification light on it, FM Radio, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and USB Type-C.

The phone will run on Android 10 out of the box.

Nokia C3

The Nokia C3 is an entry-level smartphone with a UNISOC SoC running on Android 10 made available in India for the very first time. It is a smartphone available offline only that offers a 5.99-inch HD+ LCD display and comes in two versions — 2GB+16 GB, 3GB+32 GB. The smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh removable battery and comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button and a fingerprint sensor installed on the rear.

The phone has an 8MP camera on the rear and a 5MP camera up front for selfies.

  • Nokia 125 – Rs. 1,999
  • Nokia 150- Rs. 2,299

Both the phones will be available on Nokia.com and offline retailer from 25 August.

Nokia 5.3

  • 4GB RAM + 64GB storage- Rs. 13,999
  • 6GB RAM + 64GB storage- Rs. 15,999

The Nokia 5.3 will be available on Nokia.com and Amazon.in. Pre-order is open from today, and the sale will begin from 1 September.

Nokia C3

  • 2GB RAM + 16GB storage- Rs. 7,499
  • 3GB RAM + 32GB storage- Rs. 8,999

It will be available on Nokia.com and offline retailers in India starting 17 September. The phone also comes with a 1-year replacement guarantee.
