A few months ago, Google announced to redesign the Play Store. Now, recently, Google is rolling out the redesigned Play Store in line with its Material Design. The new fresh look puts an end to the vibrant green header in favor of a brighter and whiter design. It aims for better user experience.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
The new Play Store has separate tabs for apps, games, books and movies and TV shows to help users to distinguish the content type. The new navigation bar appears at the bottom of the Play Store on phones and in the sidebar on tablets and Chrome OS devices. Like the iOS App Store, it will show unified icons with rounded rectangles to give the whole storefront a consistent and cohesive appearance.
Now it will show more details of an app at the top of the listing screen when users will tap on specific content. Moreover, the install button is broader and more prominent in comparison to the previous design.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
The new redesigned Play Store is already out and live for everyone. It seems like there is no dark mode for the new design.
