After launching its next-generation Pixel flagship lineup – the Pixel 4 and 4XL, Google has now decided to launch a budget variant of the same smartphone the Pixel 4, designated as Pixel 4a. It will be the successor of the Pixel 3a.
The Google Pixel 4a was supposed to officially get announced at the Google I/O 2020 conference in May, this year. But, due to the cancelation of the I/O conference 2020 by the company, the launch date of the smartphone still remains a secret.
There is no idea when Google will launch Pixel 4a, but ahead of its launch, Pixel 4a live image have surfaced online all over the internet. The leaked images reveal the front and back design of the smartphone.
While looking at the Pixel 4a live image, we can notice that the Pixel 4a is going to be a small and compact sized smartphone with rounded corners around the edges. The display of the Pixel 4a has a punch-hole cutout set up at the top left corner. The bezels on the smartphone are really thin.
Talking about the rear panel, the Pixel 4a features only a single camera sensor along with an LED flash placed inside a square-shaped camera module to ensure that the design of the smartphone seems identical to the Pixel 4. The back panel also features a fingerprint scanner for added protection.
Speaking about the internals, the Pixel 4a will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chipset. Also, according to the previous reports, the Pixel 4a is codenamed as “sunfish.” As for the display, the smartphone could feature a 5.7-inch or 5.8-inch screen. It will also have a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The pixel 3a series didn’t create that much hype at its own time, so Google should play its game carefully with the Pixel 4a if they want it to be a huge success.
