This feature of Google Earth already was available on the Desktop and the Pro version but it was not available for smartphones because of some hardware limitations but now today’s smartphones are so much capable that now you can observe the Milky Way galaxy and the beautiful cosmos in your very hands.

Talking in-depth, you can observe up to 30,000 miles above the earth which is insane! Behind the earth, you can see our Milky Way Galaxy and an array of stars in the magnificent sky. Some stars have been added by Google for realism just like they previously added clouds on several locations for giving information about the weather.

When asked about the manual addition to things on the app Google Earth Program software engineer Jonathan Cohen said that “Realism is important to us and we want people using Google Earth to see our planet in context with our place in the universe.”
