As we know, nowadays everyone is fighting against the life-threatening Coronavirus, So to help others learn about this deadly virus, Google has come up with a brilliant idea. The tech giant Google has launched a coronavirus search hub that makes looking for reliable information about COVID-19 easy for everyone.

This initiative by Google will help a lot of people to understand all types of information related to the Coronavirus. The Google search hub provides information like symptoms, treatments, and precautions to take in the first place. It contains links to other decisive resources on the web as well. If you want to access this information hub, you can go to google.com/covid19.

Since the beginning of the year, search interest in COVID-19 has continued to climb around the world,” says Google’s Emily Moxley (Senior Director of Product Management). Right now the disease is the largest topic people are looking for globally, surpassing even some of the most common and consistent queries we see in Search.

The search hub takes out information from the World Health Organization and links to your local health authorities. Then, it organizes what you need to know into different categories.

There’s also a statistics category that displays the number of confirmed cases, deaths, and recoveries per country. This feature has started rolling out in English in the United States, but according to Google, it will expand its reach to other countries and make it available in other languages soon.

Also, apart from the new search hub, Google has also launched a new COVID-19 portal in the United States. It is similar to the search hub as it features all the information from the search hub itself. Although, the difference lies here is that you can find state-based information, safety, and prevention tips on this portal. Google also added that they will also expand this portal to other countries and make it available in other languages too.
