Earlier EA started a countdown for the Need for Speed Heat gameplay trailer after the release of the official trailer. Now, finally on August 19th during Gamescom Opening Night Live EA released the first gameplay trailer of Need for Speed Heat. The game focuses on giving players different styles of racing. During the day, players will participate in legal races, known as Speedhunters Showdown to earn rewards for customizing their cars for the night time. The cops won’t be aggressive during the day.
There is no specified day-night cycle; players will able to switch to night as and when they are ready. When it’s dark, illegal street races will appear to players to earn Rep. However, racing in illegal races will increase the heat level, resulting in bringing out rogue cops ratchet up the efforts to stop the player.
Car customization is such a huge focus that EA is launching a mobile app. Within the app, gamers can combine various parts and materials to create their own “customized whips.” The app, called Heat Studio, will likewise enable players to open special parts to utilize within the game.
