We are a few weeks away from the launch of Borderlands 3, however, if you if like to take a journey to Pandora before then, Epic has got you covered. The latest update for the battle royale game Fortnite features a new Borderlands 3 crossover. Additions that are included in the newest update are a Psycho skin and Claptrap backpack which players can purchase along with free rewards like weapon wraps and sprays.

Recently a trailer released which reveals a squad of Fortnite players heading for a new Rift Zone which is designed after the aesthetic of Pandora the world on which much of the Borderlands series occurs.

As the squad arrives in the Rift Zone, they get attracted to some of the series’ signature loot. Before they get time to react, an axe-welding Psycho drops from the sky wearing Claptrap on his back and opens a door above them and drops a Junk Rift on the squad eliminating the whole squad.

The Borderlands 3 crossover update to the game isn’t just added a new look to the map; however, if players go ahead without taking any damage from the Pandora’s Rift Zone, they will generate shield and plenty more. Check more on Epic’s blog post here.

There is a Psycho bundle which consists of iconic Borderlands enemy skin, pair of axes and a Claptrap pet which will follow you around the entire game.

Moreover, the game also introduces a new Shield Bubble which obstructs explosives and projectile until the player destroys the emitter at its center. The B.R.U.T.E. is likewise getting another nerf, which will enable players to see an icon to identify their position throughout the game, in an effort to increase player awareness.

The Borderlands 3 crossover event will end up on September 10th, just a few days before the game’s release date September 13th.
