Dell announces G7 15, G7 17 gaming PCs and G5 gaming desktop with 10th Gen Intel CPUs, & Nvidia GPUs

Dell has announced new gaming laptops in today- Dell G7 15 and Dell G7 17, along with a new Dell G5 Gaming Desktop. Both the Dell G7 has an entirely new design with the latest 10th-Gen Intel Core processors and Nvidia GPUs.

Recent Alienware devices have inspired both the design of G7 15 and G7 17. The G7 lineup has the center hinge for the iconic look without any color LED on the front. But have slimmer bezels and thinner in looks if compared with some Alienware laptops. 

Dell G7 15: Specs

The Dell G7 15 features a 15.6-inches FHD display with up to 300Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness. The G7 15 has another variant with a UHD OLED display and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The G7 15 is powered by the latest 10th-Gen Intel Core H-series processors (Up to Core i9-10980HK), up to Nvidia RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU, up to 32GB DDR4 RAM (2,933MHz), and 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD storage.

The Dell G7 15 has a 4-Zone RGB keyboard, better than the single-zone RGB backlight keyboard.

In terms of Ports, the laptop has HDMI 2.0, 3 x USB-A 3.2, SD card reader. 3.5mm headphone jack, Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3, and Mini DisplayPort. In connectivity, the laptop has up to Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.0. 

In terms of battery, the G7 15 has up to 86Wh battery and has dual speakers for Audio.

Dell G7 17: Specs

The G7 17 features are almost similar to the G7 15. Things which are different in G7 17 are:

  • 17.3-inches FHD display with up to 300Hz refresh rate and 300 nits of brightness.
  • Dual 2W speakers
  • Ports: 3x USB-A 3.2, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C 3.2, Ethernet, Thunderbolt 3, Mini DisplayPort, and SD card reader
  • 97Wh battery

Price and Availability

Both the G7 15 and G7 17 price starts at $1,430 (Rs. 1,08,122 approx) in the US and will available in Mineral Black color from 29 June.

Dell G5 Gaming Desktop

The Dell G5 gaming Desktop offers a wide range of configurations- up to 10th-Gen Intel Core i9-10900 processor and Nvidia RTX 2070 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5600 GPU.

The gaming desktop has four thermal mode options in the Alienware Command Centre in order to optimize PC for working, gaming, or media content. The front has the RGB lighting and has an optional clear side panel. Moreover, you can open the G5 without any tools to upgrade it.
