CD Projekt Red unveiled a look of highly anticipated game Cyberpunk 2077 a year ago. Now, it released a new Cyberpunk 2077 deep dive video gameplay which indicates what the game will look like when players play.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
The company shared gameplay of 14+ minutes which is pulled from the same demos at E3 and Gamescom presenting game’s combat, hacking, dialogues. It also teases your relationship with Johnny Silverhand, a.k.a digital ghost Keanu Reeves.
The video starts at Night City’s Pacifica District with lead character V is on the job for the Voodoo Boys gang. The Voodoo Boys are skilled hackers, AKA Netrunners who want to know how another group and the Animals got their hands on some excellent tech.
The video gameplay shows two characters that are built differently. One a Strong Solo player built around strength and direct combat and another with a stealthier Netrunner character for hacking and manipulating technology in the game.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
The Strong Solo playstyle with V stomping down the corridors utilizes melee strength enhancements for combating, and opening barred doors and gunplay to go through objectives. They can even tear the gun out of the automatic turret and turn it against the Animals. Players have the choice to opt for Fast Solo build rather than that focuses on more agile combat.
The Netrunner playstyle is no less violent but more subtle. In the demo, V short-circuited a bench press machine to drop pounds of weight on the neck of its user. They can hack into the enemy’s cyberware in their bodies and make it explode — hacking minigame which includes matching data sets to gain access over a system.
The Cyberpunk 2077 deep dive video gameplay also introduced Johnny Silverhand who would be the player’s companion throughout Night’s City. He has his own agenda. Players have to decide whether they want him as their ally or enemy. However, you don’t have to everything he says. And there is a chip in the player’s character head for one thing that Johnny lives inside your mind.
There is also a Cyberpunk 2077 deep dive video gameplay Q&A stream with the developers explaining various aspects of the game.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
Cyberpunk 2077 will be going to release on April 16, 2020, for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Google Stadia will also get the game; however, no launch date hasn’t been announced yet for the platform.
