Currently, to save your credit card to your Google Account, your payment information is only transferred to Chrome when a transaction requires it. That’s why Chrome asks you to confirm your credit card by entering its CVC before auto-filling the full credit card number into a form.
But over the coming weeks, With Chrome on Android, you’ll be able to use your phone’s biometric authentication to get your card numbers with your fingerprint when making a purchase. This ensures you do not need to enter the CVC, except when you first use your credit card.
However, you still have the option to opt-out from the feature and choose to verify your card with the CVC. Moreover, you can also disable the feature from Chrome if you want.
One more feature that is going to roll out in the coming weeks in Chrome on Android is the new touch-to-fill features that display your saved accounts via Android dialog for the current website.
