Asus ROG Phone 3 Certified – Everything You Need To Know!

As we know, the Asus ROG 3 smartphone was in the news lately regarding its specifications and design. But now, the upcoming gaming smartphone from Asus, the ROG 3, has been certified by China’s electronics certifications agency, TENAA. The TENNA listing of the Asus ROG 3 is now also updated with full specifications and images of the smartphone. So, let’s talk about the full specifications of the upcoming Asus ROG 3 smartphone without further ado.

Asus ROG 3 Specifications

First, let’s talk about design. The ROG 3 comes with a relevant design as its predecessor, the ROG 2, with no punch-hole and no-notch to prevent the content on display. Also, there will be bezels at the top and the bottom of the smartphone. At the rear, the ROG 3 features a triple-camera setup with support for 4K video recording. Meanwhile, there is a single camera on the front and a large Asus ROG logo at the back.

Second, let’s talk about the display. The ROG 3 comes with a 6.59-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a PPI of 391. It comes with support for HDR10 with a refresh rate of 144Hz. Also, the screen of the smartphone comes protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass.

Third, let’s talk about the camera. The ROG 3 comes with a triple-camera setup on the rear, which includes a primary 64MP camera sensor. However, the resolution of the other two cameras has not been listed yet. Meanwhile, the front is a 13MP selfie camera. The listing also says that the smartphone features an iris scanning option, but there is no iris sensor on the smartphone.

Lastly, let’s talk about the internals. The ROG 3 comes with a Qualcomm processor with eight cores and a 3.01GHz clock frequency. Many people are saying that it is the Snapdragon 865 SoC. But, it is not possible as the Snapdragon 865 has a clock frequency of 2.84GHz. So, it’s a possibility that it could be the Snapdragon 865+ coupled with 8GB12GB, and 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB256GB, and 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage.

Out of the box, the ROG 3 will run on Android 10 with a 5,800mAh battery.
