Recently, Asus and Nvidia announced a new Asus ProArt StudioBook One at IFA in Berlin on September 4th. It might be the answer to all the content creators in terms of graphics. Asus mentioned that this is the first laptop to boast the Nvidia Quadro RTX 6000 GPU. Asus and Nvidia both touting it as the “world’s most graphically powerful laptop” for now.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
The ProArt StudioBook One is compact as well as extremely slim and offers the next level of performance. The high-performance Intel processor puts many desktops to shame, while the cutting-edge Quadro GPU handles graphics-intensive apps smoothly.
It is powered by an Intel Core i9 9th Generation processor. The processor has up to 8 cores which have a processing speed of up to 4.8GHz and provide upto16 threads for improved computing performance. It provides StudioBook one with the ability to handle complex multithreaded applications, multi-layered video editing, and 3D rendering easily.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
The Asus ProArt StudoBook One is meant to deliver a desktop-level performance in a portable bundle to 3D animators, data scientists, and product developers. This is done by its Quadro RTX 6000 graphics which includes more CUDA cores for parallel computing, more RT ray-tracing cores and more tensor cores for deep learning. It has 24GB of GDDR6 VRAM which can easily handle graphics-intensive jobs like 3D rendering.
CAD designers will get faster graphics performance with it. It takes advantage of the latest RT core processing to provide super smooth 8K video editing. The NVIDIA Quadro RTX 6000 GPU has a total of 4608 CUDA cores to speed up graphics rendering, including VR, 576 Tensor Cores, 72 RT cores and 10 Giga Rays per second of performance. With this, it dramatically accelerates performance to shorten AI training and inference times for AI developers. For comparison: A GeForce RTX 2080 Ti has 4,352 CUDA cores, 544 tensor cores, and 68 RT cores.
The laptop has up to 32GB DDR4 2666MHz of onboard memory which ensures no slowdowns while multitasking or working on large project files.
It has 1TB NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD for superfast data read/write exceeding 3000 MB/s means there’s almost no waiting time when opening large files or loading apps.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
Instead of the keyboard, all the elements in the ProArt StudioBook One are below the screen. The hood is sleek Star Grey in color followed by the Asus logo. When the lid has lifted the hood back at the hinge raises outwards for better cooling.
The laptop has a 15.6inch 4K Ultra HD display which is vibrant, providing an 84% screen-to-body ratio. The display is a PANTONE Validated display that has a superfast 120Hz refresh rate, and the Delta-E is less than one color accuracy, as well as edge-to-edge glass that sits flush with the bezels. Asus also claimed that it covered 100% of the Adobe RGB.
Asus ProArt StudioBook One is specially designed to allow optimal airflow in and out of the chassis. The outer cover of the lid automatically opens by 4.57 degrees for cooling when the laptop is opened. It has thin Titanium-based vapor chambers for circulating air which Asus claims dissipate heat better. When the laptop is placed on the lap, users won’t feel any heat as the hot air exits from the side of the chassis.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”zxikm5d3e04a8f1451″]
An extensive set of high-performance I/O ports– consisting of 3 Thunderbolt 3 ports of 40Gbps with 8K video and audio output. It also has dual-band Wi-Fi 5, faster than wired speeds up to 1.73 Gbps for smooth online video streaming with a more stable network connection and broader range.
