Today, Apple Inc. launched its latest iteration of the iPad Pro lineup, and we can say that it is definitely an upgrade over the previous generation iPad series as it has a better camera module, better display, and much more. So, let’s take a look at what Apple has in store for its customers.
Design and Display
The new iPad Pro is available in the same 11-inches and 12.9-inches screen sizes, which are more than okay for every avid iPad user. The design from the front is also the same if compared to the last-gen tablets. The only thing that has gone under a major change is the rear side of this new iPad Pro.
On the back, it has a new camera module encased in a square cutout, which is almost identical to the previous iPhone 11 and 11 Pro smartphones. The camera module consists of two cameras and a LiDAR scanner for helping with depth-sensing.
Processor and Optics
The new iPad Pro is powered by the A12Z Bionic chipset by Apple, which is an octa-core processor comprising of a neural core and octa-core GPUs. The new A12Z Bionic chipset is very powerful and capable if compared to the previous generation A12X chipset.
“The new iPad Pro is faster and more powerful than most Windows PC laptops.” This statement by Apple Inc. seals its claim on the performance of the A12Z Bionic chipset’s performance.
Talking about the optics, the camera module on the iPad Pro consists of a primary camera sensor for normal photos and videography, an Ultra-Wide sensor for wide-angle, larger than life shots, and a LiDAR scanner for increasing the efficiency of depth-sensing and working of ARKit applications.
