After being a little late from its rivals, Apple is finally going to make its way to the 5G era next year. The reports are suggesting that Apple will introduce three Flagship 5G iPhone models, which will include Qualcomm’s 5G modem chip.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
According to the reports of Nikkei Asian Review, Apple is deploying suppliers to ship approximately 80 million 5G iPhones in 2020.
For the Flagship category, the company will probably use the next-gen A14 Bionic chip in combination with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X55 modem chip. Moreover, there are rumors that the A14 Bionic chip is the company’s first 5nm build technology chip. It’s really good to hear that Apple and Qualcomm are finally settled after the patent dispute.
On the other hand, Huawei is also expected to introduce its next Kirin processor build on 5nm technology. Previously, Huawei defeats Qualcomm with the world’s first 7nm chip- the Kirin 980, and with Kirin 990, Huawei again exceeds in the world’s first chipset with 5G modem. So it is in doubt who will first introduce the 5nm chipset next year.
Apart from Apple’s record earnings of $64 million in revenue, a 2-percent increase in its fiscal fourth-quarter 2019, iPhone sales decline in comparison with the last year, which brings in $33.36 million in revenue, a 9.2-percent decrease.
Now let see with the inclusion of 5G iPhone how the company boosts forward. Although there are companies who already have taken the lead in the 5G market, but Apple always has a fanbase who remains loyal to the company, and it’s too early to decide now. Let the company introduce 5G iPhones first.
