AMD unveils new Ryzen 4000 G-Series Desktop CPUs with Radeon Graphics

Once again, AMD has destroyed its rival Intel by unleashing a fury of powerful desktop processors. This time, the company has announced a new family of desktop processors in the form of the new Ryzen 4000 G-series CPUs in reply to Intel’s latest desktop chipsets. Furthermore, all the desktop CPUs in the Ryzen 4000 G-series family arrive with Radeon graphics that provides you a powerful performance.

The AMD Ryzen 4000 G-series comprises of 6 new powerful desktop processors with built-in Radeon graphics and Zen efficiency. The company boasts that these processors offer 2.5x more performance than the last generation. So, without further ado, let’s talk about these processors in a little bit of detail.

Starting with the main CPU in the family, we have the flagship Ryzen 7 4700G CPU. It comes with eight cores and 16 threads with a base frequency of 3.6GHz and a boost CPU clock of 4.4GHz. Moreover, it offers up to 8 Radeon GPU cores with a TDP of 65W.

Second, we have the AMD Ryzen 5 4600G. It comes with up to six cores and 12 threads with a base frequency of 4.2GHz and a boost CPU clock speed of 3.7GHz. Furthermore, it offers up to 7 Radeon GPU cores with a TDP of 65W.

Third, we have the AMD Ryzen 3 4300G. It comes with up to 4 cores and 8 threads with a base frequency of 4.0GHz and a boost CPU clock speed of 3.8GHz. Moreover, it offers up to 6 Radeon GPU cores with a TDP of 65W.

The other three CPUs going to unveil are the Ryzen 7 4700GRyzen 5 4600G, and Ryzen 3 4300G with ‘GE’ variants, for the 35W SKUs. Let’s start with the Ryzen 7 first. The Ryzen 7 4700 GE is an eight-core16 thread chipset with a base frequency of 4.3GHz and a boost CPU clock speed of 3.1GHz. It comes with 8 Radeon graphic cores and consumes a TDP of 35W.

Now, let’s talk about the AMD Ryzen 5 4600 GE. It is a 6-core, 12 thread chipset with a base frequency of 4.2GHz and boost CPU clock speed of 3.3GHz. It comes with 7 Radeon graphic cores and consumes a TDP of 35W.

Furthermore, we have the AMD Ryzen 3 4300GE. It is a 4-core, eight-thread chipset with a base frequency of 4.0GHz and a boost CPU clock speed of 3.5GHz. It comes with 6 Radeon graphic cores and consumes a TDP of 35W.

However, apart from these consumer models, there are also Ryzen PRO 4000 processors, which include the Ryzen 7 PRO 4750GRyzen 5 PRO 4650G, and Ryzen 3 PRO 4350G with GE variants. But, for your information, these are similar CPUs with built-in security features. We will have to see how Intel will respond to this powerful lineup from AMD.
