Previously, Realme has confirmed the name of their first 5G lineup, which will be called Realme X50. Now, new leaks reveal the specifications of realme X50 lineup and the model number.
An Indian leakstar Sudhanshu Ambhore has shared a tweet that reveals Realme has recently taken approval for a device with model number RMX2030 by The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). If the source is to be believed, this could be the model number of the upcoming Realme X50 5G.
In the X50 lineup, there can also be a lite version, which will be called ‘The Youth edition’ by Realme. Recently, the specifications of Realme X50 has been leaked by a credible source.
Realme X50 Leaked Specifications –
The standard X50 is rumored to come up with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which will have a refresh rate of 90Hz. It is reported to come with a quad-camera setup at the back in which the primary sensor will be a 60MP Sony IMX686, a 2-megapixel for depth, a 2-megapixel for close-up macro shots and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Most probably, the front camera will be a dual hole-punch on the top left of the screen. The primary front camera lens will be a 32 megapixel and an 8-megapixel secondary camera for depth sensing. All these cameras will be carried out by competent hardware, which will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 5G chipset.
Battery capacity on this thing will be around 4,500 mAh with the superfast VOOC 4.0 flash charge support available. Most probably, the base variant will have 6/128GB, and the highest one will have 8/256GB.
Leaked Specifications of Realme X50 Lite –
There will also be a ‘Youth version’ of this thing, which will be called Realme X50 Lite. By the name, there will be some downgrades as it is the light version. The lite version will feature a 6.55-inch IPS LCD by JDI, which is larger than the standard one but not S-AMOLED. It is also reported to come with a quad-camera setup at the back in which the primary sensor will be a 16MP, a 2-megapixel for depth, a 2-megapixel for close-up macro shots and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens.
Unlike the standard version, there will be only one single 32MP camera in front of the device. It will be running the untested MediaTek MT6885 5G chipset. Battery capacity will be larger on this one, a 5,000 mAh battery with the same charging feature as the standard one. The base model for the lite version can be sporting 6/64GB up to 8/128GB.
Realme has taken the smartphone market by storm by launching a smartphone for every budget segment. Whether it be a low budget device, mid-range, or a flagship phone, They have one of the best phones in mostly every price segment.
Realme, which is a sub-brand of OPPO, puts all of the useful features at a very reasonable price. In terms of being called ‘Feature-Packed,’ Realme can go toe to toe with Redmi, which is an accomplishment in itself. Currently, all the devices released by this company are bang for your buck.
With all that information out, we still can’t say when Realme will launch this lineup. Most probably, it will get released in the first quarter of the year 2020. If the rumors are correct, the X50 series will be the cheapest 5G smartphones ever.
