Previously, Microsoft announced that they are getting ready to release the Windows 10 November 2019 Update, and Build 18363.418 will be the final build for it. Now, the company pushed the Windows 10 19H2 Build 18363.418 to the Insiders who are on 18362.10024 and in the Release Preview ring.[wpinsertshortcodead id=”bzyqm5d3e04029f48f”]
However, instead of highlighting fixes, Microsoft mentioned that Insiders who are on the Slow ring with build 18362.10024, then they won’t be receiving this update. They have to switch to the Release Preview ring to get this final build of 19H2. And the Insiders who are in the Slow ring will soon be updated to 20H1. If you want to enroll your PC for the Release Preview ring to grab the update, you can check the steps in this Windows blog.
For a quick recap, the November 2019 or version 1909 update adds an enablement package upgrading the build from 18362 to 18363, whereas the build revision remains the same. The 1909 update is smaller than the earlier feature updates. However, Microsoft still didn’t mention when this update will be coming; we expect that it will release sometime in November. 20H1 will be the next major update which is being tested in the Fast ring and expected to launch in 2020.
